Here's a fun thing for the winter season - a snowball you can actually throw. We've seen a few that you can shoot (as if from a gun) but this is the first one that we've seen that you actually *throw*! Get your scarves and coats on and get out in the snow for snowballing fun with family and friends...

Simply wear the Snowball (it attaches to your right hand) line up your victim and type /throw. You avatar animates with a throwing action and lets the Snowball fly. When the Snowball hits its target it explodes in a flurry of little white particles.

If it misses and lands on the ground it just rolls away (usually with a similar little flurry of particles). Provided that scripts are able to run when it comes to rest it will delete itself after a minute or so, so you never have to worry about clearing up afterwards ;c)

/safe - in the News !

You may remember me enthusing about our Snow Crash 'safe' Tribute a while back, well a couple of days ago I got a call from Redaktisto Noble who said he was writing an article for SLNN (Second Life News Network) on The Impact of Snow Crash.
